Yun-Chien Shen's research project, "Software Architecture of mini Artificial General Intelligence," focuses on developing a flexible and scalable intelligent digital human system aimed at processing and solving various contemporary societal issues. The project stood out in the "Dialogue with AI - Advanced Prompt Engineering Challenge," demonstrating profound expertise in Prompt Engineering and the field of artificial intelligence.
Research Background and Motivation
Yun-Chien Shen's research began in 2021 with the goal of utilizing an intelligent digital human system to end social chaos and political polarization, and to generate intelligent policies that truly benefit the people. The system aims to implement and practice long-term intelligent education goals to bring positive change to society.
System Introduction
The mini Artificial General Intelligence system (miniAGI) is a comprehensive AI solution covering several core modules, including a general-purpose basic knowledge management platform, natural language processing, knowledge construction, and reasoning and decision-making. The system employs a modular design, allowing each functional module to be used independently or combined flexibly to meet the needs of different scenarios.
Prompt Engineering and Methodology
Regarding prompt engineering, Yun-Chien Shen adopted various strategies and techniques, including Task-Specific Prompting, Dynamic Prompting, Acting (few-shot guidance), and Contextual Setting. These methodologies not only improved the model's accuracy in specific domains but also enhanced its reasoning capabilities and adaptability.
Core Modules
1. General-Purpose Basic Knowledge Management Platform: Integrates various types of structured and unstructured data, providing functions such as data cleaning, classification, and querying.
2. Natural Language Processing (Input/Output): Utilizes advanced NLP technology to achieve natural human-computer dialogue, text analysis, and question-answering systems.
3. Knowledge/Experience/Wisdom Construction Expert Platform: Based on knowledge graph technology, it constructs graphical/structured vector knowledge bases to support complex knowledge reasoning and logical computation.
Future Development
Yun-Chien Shen stated that future research will involve cross-disciplinary integration with psychology and neuroscience to develop parameters for evaluating the balance of miniAGI's personality traits and intrinsic perspectives, achieving seamless integration with applications across various industries. Furthermore, the system will continue to absorb cutting-edge industry technologies, such as the Metaverse and quantum computing, to elevate its intelligence level and become an intelligent assistant in people's daily lives.
