Conference Background and Objectives
With the rapid advancement of biomedical technology, innovative technologies such as organ-on-a-chip, artificial intelligence, smart medical devices, and cell-derived new drugs have demonstrated immense potential in the fields of precision medicine and regenerative medicine. The application of these technologies can not only enhance medical outcomes but also significantly improve patients' quality of life. However, the research, development, and application of these emerging technologies also bring numerous regulatory compliance challenges. To address this, ISIMAC 2024 will gather domestic and international experts and industry leaders to jointly explore how to promote the regulatory compliance of innovative medical technologies while ensuring safety and efficacy.
Event Agenda
The conference will officially begin at 9:00 am, starting with an opening ceremony featuring remarks from representatives of the Industrial Technology Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Institute for Information Industry (III) Technology Law Research Center, and Asia University. Subsequently, the conference will be divided into three thematic sessions for in-depth discussion:

- 11:15 am - 11:45 am: Panel Discussion on the Development and Application Prospects of Organ-on-a-Chip, moderated by Assistant Professor Su Wen-Yu of Asia University.
